各位同學：

教育部于2009/2010學年起設立了優秀自費生獎學金，用于資助經濟困難的優秀自費來華留學本科生。鑒于此獎學金項目的良好效果，教育部決定2020/2021學年在我校繼續設立該項獎學金。現就有關評選事宜通知如下：

In order to encourage the excellent foreign self-funded students worldwide to study at Jinan University, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has set up a scholarship program for excellent foreign self-funded students. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows.

一、獎學金名額

根據自費外國留學生本科生人數，我院隻有1個獎學金正選名額。

According to the number of foreign self-funded students in our university, the Ministry of Education (MOE) provides 7 scholarship candidates for the 2020-2021 academic year.

根據自費外國留學生本科生人數，我校共有2個獎學金開放名額,僅提供給中國政府獎學金生申請。

Open Quota: 2 current postgraduates and undergraduates with CSC scholarship who are studying in the grade (year) 2 or above to participate in national level selection (a total of 100 quotas in the nation). Awards: Certificate only, no scholarship.

二、申請條件

1. 本科二年級以上全日制（不含畢業班學生），學習成績優異，無不及格及違紀現象，具備較強的學習研究能力。

2.對華态度友好，在華表現優秀。

3.遵紀守法，身心健康，全面發展。

4.積極參加各項文體活動或社會實踐活動；有突出事迹者優先。

5.同等條件下，家庭經濟條件困難者優先。

6.在讀期間未獲得過該獎項的學生,且2019-2020學年未獲得其他獎學金學生。

7.2019-2020學年平均績點3.0以上。

注：已獲得國僑辦海外華文教師獎學金的留學生除外。

Eligibility for application

The applicant must satisfy following conditions：

1.Undergraduate students（except for freshman and senior students）.

2. Foreign students at their own expenses.

3. Passed in all subjects and no disciplinary records in the last academic year.

4. Have not gained Scholarship of Chinese language and education by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.

5. If applicants with same conditions, students from families that with financial difficulty could be considered first.

6. Have not obtained the Excellent Foreign Self-funded Students' Scholarship during college years, and have not obtained any other scholarships during 2019-2020 academic year.

7. GPA is more than 3.0 during 2019-2020 academic year.

三、獎勵金額

提供一次性獎勵： 18,000元/一學年（正選名額）

Scholarship Amount：￥18000 per academic year （Fixed Quota）

四、評審程序

個人申請（10月26－10月28日）→院系初評推薦（10月28日－30日）→學校評審（11月2日－6日）→校内公示（11月9日－13日）→中國國家留學基金委員會審定并确定最終獲獎名單

Process of Application:

Application by individuals(Oct. 26-28)→Selecting candidates by college(Oct.28-30)→Approval of recommended applicants by Student Affairs Office（Nov.2-6）→Publicity of recommended students list(Nov.9-13)→Reconfirmation final awards list by China Scholarship Council

五、申請材料

（一）《2019-2020學年優秀自費來華留學生獎學金學生個人信息彙總表》（附件1）此表格隻需要電子檔；  

《2020-2021學年優秀自費來華留學生獎學金申請表》（電子填寫，請勿手寫，見附件2）。

（二）在學證明（學校教務處開具版本）

（三）在校期間的成績單（學校教務處開具版本）

（四）兩張個人彩色證件照

（五）《我的留華故事》一篇（題目不限，字數不少于800字）

 (六)其他輔助材料

The necessary materials for application include:

（1）Application Form of Jinan University Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship（Download from this website）

（2）School attendance certificate（by Academic Affairs Department of Jinan University）

（3）Undergraduate transcript（by Academic Affairs Department of Jinan University）

（4）Two identification photos（passport standard）

（5）Write a composition about my stay in China (no less than 800 words)

（6）Supplementary materials.

Please hand the above materials in to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before Oct. 30th, overdue will be inadmissible.
